To enable students sign in to Code Classroom using your school or district’s single sign-on provider, you need to:
- Allow Code Classroom in your SSO provider.
- Add your school’s authorised email domain to Code Classroom.

Code Classroom currently supports Google Workspace. We plan to support more SSO providers in the future.
Configuring for Google Workspace
If your workspace restricts what applications can be used by accounts, you will need to add the Raspberry Pi Foundation Accounts app to the allow list. See Control which third-party & internal apps access Google Workspace data.
Add an authorised domain to Code Classroom
Would will need to be the school owner to manage student SSO settings.
- In your school settings navigate to SSO for students
- Add the SSO/email domain of your school or district’s SSO provider
Note: you may add more than one domain if your school or district uses multiple.
Once these steps are complete, students will be able to log in to Code Classroom using single sign-on (Google) without a teacher needing to add them manually.
