If your teacher has left feedback on your project, you can view it and make updates directly in the Code Editor.
Step 1: Ensure you are logged in
Make sure you’re signed in to your student account. If you’re not sure how to log in, follow the student login guide.
Step 2: Go to your class
Once you’re logged in, you’ll see your list of classes on your dashboard. Look for classes that show the status ‘New feedback’ — this means your teacher has left a comment for you.
Step 3: In your class navigate to your project
Click your class to see a list of your projects. Each project shows a status so you know what stage it’s at:
Ready for you – you haven’t submitted your work yet.
Sent for feedback – you’ve marked your project as ready and it’s waiting for your teacher to review.
Sent back – your teacher has returned your project for more work.
New feedback – your teacher has added comments for you to read.
Complete – your teacher has marked your work as finished.
Step 4: View your feedback
Click your project to open it in the Code Editor. In the left-hand panel, click the message icon to open the Feedback panel. Here you can read your teacher’s comments. Feedback appears as plain text.
You can’t reply to feedback, but you can make changes to your code based on your teacher’s notes.
Step 5: Ready for review
When you’ve updated your work and are ready for your teacher to review it again, click 'Ready for review' in the top right hand corner of the Code Editor. The checkbox will toggle on or off to indicate to your teacher whether your project is ready for feedback.
