Step 1: Navigate to your class and create a project
On your class page, click 'Add project'.
Step 2: Select your project type
Enter a project name and select what kind of project you wish to make for your students. In this case, you can choose the 'Python' or 'HTML/CSS/JS' editor.
Step 3: Click 'View project code'
Step 4: Once in your editor, you will see the 'Project instructions' panel
Instructions can be added to your project to guide students. These instructions will be shown to students in their project sidebar and will be view-only.
Step 5: Click 'Add instructions'
Template markdown is provided to help you once you have opted to add instructions. Instructions are written in markdown. You can 'View' how your instructions will appear to students by clicking the 'View' option in the instructions panel. You also have the ability to remove instructions by clicking 'Remove instructions'.
If you add instructions to an existing project that is visible to students, please note that students who have already saved their own version of the project will not see any newly added instructions. We advise creating a new project containing the instructions in these cases.
